Tyger Pick - D9
Tyger Pick – D9
The big Tyger for the really hard yards.
When the ground is seriously hard and there's plenty of overburden to shift, the Tyger Pick – D9 brings the size, strength and leverage to get stuck into it.
Designed to break up super-hard, compacted ground quickly and efficiently, the D9 makes light work of scraping and removing overburden as you work your way down towards the gold.
The oversized folded edges are designed to bite into the ground and hold a large amount of material, allowing you to scrape and remove more dirt with each stroke. With a 330mm long head and 170mm scraping surface, you've got plenty of working area to get through the dirt efficiently.
Built from 5mm Hardox 450, this is no lightweight garden tool. Hardox 450 is quenched and tempered, high-strength steel with exceptional resistance to abrasion — exactly what you want when you're repeatedly attacking hard, unforgiving ground.
At 910mm overall length and approximately 2.2kg, the D9 gives you serious reach and leverage, while the Australian hardwood handle provides the strength and durability you'd expect from a tool made for Australian prospecting.
