Tyger Pick - D7
Tyger Pick – D7
More reach. More bite. More ground moved.
When you're dealing with seriously hard ground, the Tyger Pick – D7 is built to get stuck in. Designed to break up stubborn ground quickly and efficiently while making short work of overburden, the D7 gives you the extra length and working surface to really attack the ground.
The 280mm long head and generous 150mm scraping surface make it ideal for loosening, scraping and removing larger amounts of material as you work your way down towards the gold. The oversized folded edges help hold material, allowing you to shift more dirt with every pass.
At the heart of the D7 is 5mm Hardox 450 steel — high-strength, quenched and tempered steel with exceptional resistance to abrasion. In other words, it's built to take a beating in the kind of ground where lesser tools start feeling sorry for themselves.
At 760mm overall length and approximately 1.7kg, the D7 provides plenty of leverage while still being practical to carry into the field. Finished with a tough Australian hardwood handle, it's a serious digging tool built for Australian prospecting conditions.
