PinPointers
XP Metal Detectors offers two highly capable pinpointers—the wireless MI-6 and the conventional MI-4. Both are engineered in France with a 360-degree detection range, a front pinpointing tip, and submersible waterproofing up to 6 meters (20 feet).
The main models and their standout features include:
- XP MI-6: The flagship, fully connected pinpointer. When paired wirelessly via radio link with the XP Deus II, Deus, or ORX, it transmits audio directly to your wireless headphones. It unlocks 50 sensitivity levels, a target zoom graph, and a "Lost Device Search" mode to track it down even if it's switched off.
- XP MI-4: The conventional alternative for those who don’t require Deus or ORX radio connectivity. It shares the same robust build and deep 360° scanning range but functions as a standalone device.
- Range/Sensitivity: 3 levels of sensitivity on the MI-4 (and up to 50 when wirelessly connected to an XP detector on the MI-6) plus an easy "retune" feature to narrow the field or handle heavy ground mineralization.
- Audio: Features both Pulse and Pitch audio modes, as well as vibration and LED controls.
- Battery: Powered by a rechargeable lithium polymer battery. The MI-4 runs for up to 30 hours, while the MI-6 extends up to 90 hours when paired wirelessly with your detector.
