XP MI-4 & MI-6 Pinpointer Protective End Caps

Protect the business end of your pinpointer!

We all know someone who does it… using their pinpointer like a miniature digging tool!

If you’re one of those detectorists who just can't resist poking, scraping and digging with your XP MI-4 or MI-6, these protective heat-shrink end caps are a simple and inexpensive way to help protect the tip.

Made from heat-shrink tubing with an internal adhesive lining, these caps fit over the end of your pinpointer and shrink securely into place when gently heated.

How They Work

Simply:

1. Slide the end cap over the tip of your MI-4 or MI-6.
2. Apply gentle heat using a hairdryer or suitable heat source.
3. The tubing shrinks tightly around the tip.
4. The internal adhesive helps secure the cap in position.
5. Get back to detecting — and keep digging!

Why Add One?

The tip of your pinpointer takes plenty of punishment in the field. These protective caps provide an additional layer of protection against scraping, abrasion and general wear.
