Coils
XP metal detector coils are renowned for their lightweight, completely wireless design, and patented modular technology. They operate across incredibly versatile, multi-frequency and high-frequency ranges to suit various soil conditions, target sizes, and detecting environments.
Three primary coil ranges power the XP lineup:
- FMF (Fast Multi-Frequency) Coils: Featured on the flagship XP Deus II, these coils cover 49 simultaneous and single frequencies ranging from 4 to 45 kHz. They offer exceptional performance across land, beaches, and underwater up to 20 meters.
- X35 Coils: Highly adaptable search coils for the Deus and ORX models. They feature 5 main frequencies (with 7 offsets) covering 3.7 to 27.7 kHz, plus a selectable "boost mode" on low frequencies to punch deep into the ground for relics and caches. Available in sizes 9", 11", and 13"x11".
- HF (High Frequency) Coils: Specially designed for gold prospecting and finding tiny, low-conductive targets. These coils operate at much higher frequency spans (e.g., up to 80 kHz on the elliptical models) and contain the battery directly in the lower stem for optimal balance.
